Drilling and Sawing Association NVQ level 1 Introduction to diamond drilling DVD.
Diamonds and how they are made.
Matrix and what the powders do.
How to make the segments.
How the diamonds actually cut.
Once the knowledge is in place we look at the best practise for using the diamonds focusing on getting the best cut.
What to do if drilling rates decrease or the diamonds stop cutting - ways to stop this from happening.
Emergency cutting procedures.
Why a core becomes trapped in a hole and how to get it out.
Accessories and helpful bits of kit - what they do and how it can help.
Have a look at cores being assembled in our workshops and various products we have available.
Lunch is included and the course lasts approx from 09 - 0930 to 3.30
There is a Theory Test at the end to make sure the knowledge is understood.
